It happens in game as well, it isn’t just studio.
Also there is nothing except normal parts inside the tree. Only Grass and Wood. No mesh, no unions.

Your plugin(s) could be easily causing an issue that carries into game… ones that deal with parts or lighting.
Ok can you record? so I can see what happen there in more detail
I’ll open OBS in the meantime to see if I can catch it while I’m testing, but there is no guarantee it’ll happen at all, as it’s completely random
That’s an old version, but it still has the issue I have now.
My guess is it has to do with the fighting script… when i fought the boss i saw flashes of yellow and thats the only yellow i see in the game.
It happened again.
I have been testing for the past hour or so and this is the only time it happened.
Before anybody comments about the trees, this happened when my map was just a BasePlate, and the glow appeared on the ground as well.
In the video above you can see it appears on the SpawnLocation as well, so it isn’t the part’s fault.
Do you have any beta features enabled?
Not that I know of, it happens in game too.
Have you experienced this bug in any other game or just your game?
If you experience this bug in just your own game, then it’s possibly a lighting issue on your end.
If you experience it in other games too, then it’s a render issue, which can be caused by your Rendering/Graphics settings in studio.
Just my game. It most likely is a lighting issue except I’m not sure how to find out whats causing it as its very difficult to test.
In my opinion I feel if it was a lighting issue, it would affect all the parts (or atleast most)… not specific parts of the same type at the same time. I still feel a script is causing this, especially since it is specific to your game.
Two ways to test this is resetting the lighting back to the default settings and disabling all scripts, to test. Its a certain yellow glow that looks just like the power move of the boss, do you use these same fight scripts in other games? if not, i would disable these scripts first to test.
From my experience it affects most of the parts (but mostly on the sides, not the top of the part).
When my map was a baseplate it happened on the ground too, and that combined with the way it changes based on perspective makes me believe it’s a lighting issue.
As for the fighting scripts the only thing yellow that it produces is a quick particle effect when you hit something, I have no clue how a particle effect would cause the map-wide yellow glow that I’m experiencing.
I have many other particle effects that are similar to the yellow one but with different colors, yet the only glow I see is a yellow one which leads me to believe it can’t be my scripts causing the issue.
And for testing, it would take a very long time as this glow only happens very rarely, like once every hour on average.
I will take your advice and change the Lighting settings back to default and see if it fixes the issue.
I see now, yes then the script wont affect baseplates… try the lighting default and see how that works out. Best of luck.
I did find something interesting, my Geographic Latitude in Lighting was set to 0, which may have caused the bug.
Zero is the default setting… … …
Oh, I loaded up a game that I thought had default lighting settings.
Woops.
Actually i seem to have this same issue after using the highlight feature. Dont know if this helps or not, but try to delete those parts and replace them again. If you added highlights that may be the issue.
