Inspired by @tyridge77 's ocean I tried my hand at making a cool wave system. Unfourantly im not good at making any water PBRs so this is as far as I could get in terms of visual aesthetic.
(Yes the ship does float on the waves accurately ) ( still looking for a professional boat modeler)
Please note this is a pretty early version ive been working on and is nowhere near the final product.
Also if you can do PBRs send me a message. Im looking to get a new PBR for the water.
It’s Nice I’ve pent about a month, looking into skinned meshes… People like @DabidarZ have made some really cool stuff, and I’ve tried to replicate it, (Got me banned on his dc and lot of disrespect) and got pretty far, I’ve added LOD, based on bones instead of chunk’s like he has, and made a handler to export different states of the mesh to blender and create textures for a depth effect… I’m currently working on adding foam when waves collide, and splashes when barrels, ships etc fall into the water, I’ve managed to make it look identical to Sea of Thieves, but it’s missing vector rendering or sum, I’ve also managed to put together a dev team and started progress with advertising and releasing the game to the public…
