Removing un-shown parts of a mesh in blender

ok yeah this seems to be working, however, the model still sort of glitch out and I cant figure out a good way to merge it yet (there would always be a part that just doesn’t have a face for whatever reason : P

That’s looking better, but still looks like there’s a bit to do. Have you considered rebuilding it using that one as a guide? Trying to think of a quick way to rebuild that with better geometry. You can have this kind of thing in about a minute (this one took ~30 sec, so it isn’t going to compare too favorably with the one you have, but it can get there) and then move vertices around to match the one you have (e.g. put them over one another in a top down view with one so you can see through it or something).

You’d need to turn on LoopTools (which comes with Blender but isn’t enabled by default), but otherwise is straight-forward. I can give describe the process if you want.

Actually, a shrinkwrap might work well here. One min and I’ll edit this with the process.

I would rebuild it if its just this part, but the problem is that unless I can get it to the EXACT same shape, it wouldn’t work, as otherwise I would have to rebuilt the entire island shown in this post: A cartoony island
I did seem to make it work tho, now Im just removing some extra vertices that couldn’t just be merged : D
