It’s literally like F2 to rename but just for multiple instances. Because like when you select a bunch of instances and you press F2, it only renames the last selected instance. But with this, it renames all the instances. So now you don’t have to move your mouse to the properties panel to rename a bunch of instances!!
I’ll probably add keywords like %s or %d for indexing and keeping the original name and such but for now that’s all. Thanks! Bye!
Yeah I don’t know what’s the purpose of this poll. It’s as useless as this plugin so.. yea..

Yeah this was… rushed.
Ooh btw USAGE:
MUST READ!!
So this plugin doesn’t have any button or anything similar. You need to assign a shortcut to it! You can do it by going to File > Advanced > Customise Shortcuts
What you’ve explained implies that the plugin just renames a bunch of instances selected. The properties window already can do this. However if you added renaming using string patterns or regex patterns, then it would be bringing something new to the table.
Spoilers. I just said that in the original post that I will add string patterns later.
Again spoilers, I also listed how it’s a bit convenient than the properties panel as this reduces mouse move time and you can instantly just press a key and start typing away.
