Will we ever be able to control the cutoff distance? Because I feel like the 100,000 cap is doing more harm to my players/myself than it should…
Since a few weeks back I’ve experienced major lag when inside an explosion particle effect.
The same effect doesnt lag at all if you watch it from a slight distance, but if u stand inside your fps drops to about 3 fps.
Given I’ve recently also downgraded graphicscard but I’m pretty sure this was an issue before that.
I’ve also gotten same reports from multiple people lately.
This was an issue before, maybe halfyear-year ago but was fixed and now it’s back…
I’ve always played roblox on low quality computers and this as always been an issue. I never noticed it was fixed though.
I’m curious, why does it drop my FPS when I stand near an explosion anyway?
It requires rendering large amounts of large transparent images on your screen. Ends up being really taxing on the CPU.
Oh yeah, forgot about that transparency.
