Since the Silk+ texture pack was a bit inaccurate on some assets, i decided to fix it and create RobloSilk, which comes with the accurate Forcefield and Humanoid textures, among with other tweaks.
RobloSilk.zip (631.1 KB)
Here is a version without duplicates for those confused with the same asset textures:
RobloSilkNoDupes.zip (641.8 KB)
Here are some of the changes made:
would you mind showcasing the tweaks you’ve made? and could you upload the file as a .zip instead of hosting on mediafire? as it says a paid subscription is required to download the folder
nice
i did let Silk+ not be 100% accurate - because i wanted to let developers directly see the difference between different Value classes and Mesh classes, etc
I just wanted to exactly replicate pre-new icons, if some people still dont like the differences.
Also whyd you make the legs green?
i genuinely dont remember why i did that
LOL bro just wanted to be similar to the Noob poor little humanoid guy
Also what happened to the Forcefield? Honestly the accurate version looks better.
Also, im gonna make a version of the pack with different textures like you did, but im keeping the Humanoid and Forcefield textures.
i can’t awnser all of your questions about me changing some classes so i’ll just sum up basically most of them
some of the duplicate class icons were changed because, in my opinion, it was quite lazy of Roblox to use the same icons, if i remember correctly, ForceField had the same icon as TouchTransmitter so i felt like i needed to change one or the other
though from the standpoint that (mostly) everyone wanted the old icons back, i shouldn’t have made all of these changes because it loses its authenticity, i might actually feature this post on the Silk+ post incase people dont like the changes i’ve personally made for it
Oh thanks dude! But please change the Forcefield for 2.9, it looks ugly and theres no proof it had that texture if im correct.
Oh one more thing, i noticed that the ControllerBase and some other classes are still duplicated in your pack, but im just saying.
if i have time, i’ll fix as many issues i can find with 2.8
Okay, but dont forget to make a separate version, i lost a very important old pack version i had cuz of that mistake…
