are you sure there is no external program capping your fps?
do other non-roblox games run at 30fps?
I’ve been having this problem too where I don’t go over 60fps and my macbook is a bit newer (Macbook Air 2019). I don’t really think it’s a hardware issue either as I can play more demanding games like CSGO with over 50-60fps but when I play Roblox, it always stays under 35.
Check VSync Settings. Check if theres a setting that caps program fps when you play on charger.
Usually WIFI doesn’t affect FPS.
It’s either something on your PC, or it’s Roblox that made the FPS cap even worse for your device. You can try using FPSUnlocker!
I think so since mines a 2.7 ghz dual core i5 made in 2015
No apps running except roblox i closed all apps and yes it caps at 30fps if i use the highest monitor settings
I dont think i can disable vsync on my mac
I tried and i tried to select 30fps option and it stays at 30fps and when i click 60fps option it only goes up to 41

Is your laptop maybe too weak to handle Roblox? What kind of games to experience this issue on?
I’m using i7 from 2012 and GTX 460, Roblox runs fine. This is on Roblox part.
All games even an empty game without a spawn or baseplate

Yeah, as the user stated above, it’s a Roblox Issue. No idea why they implement any sort of FPS cap in the first place. Except if your Laptop is slow. Does your laptop perform well in other games?
It runs other applications better roblox studio does run better than the player

Ok this topic has been outdated, and I just noticed that roblox isnt optimized for retina based macs, i tried moving to a lower spec mac and it goes up to a solid 60fps
