Weird thing is, it works SOMETIMES. I don’t know how byfron works, but I would assume it wouldn’t let me join sometimes if it saw something wrong?
Could be related:
I tried unplugging the only abnormal thing at my computer, my drawing tablet. My issue persists, might be related but not sure.
Seems like it fixed by unplugging a steering wheel, probably not related to your problem then if you don’t have a steering wheel
I experienced the exact same problem. I could only use Roblox Studios. I resolved it by turning off MSI Afterburner.
For about two months, I couldn’t play anything; instead, I was only programming, and I got a lot better. This was about two years ago.
I have been experiencing this when I tried to launch Roblox as well. The only solution for me is to reset my entire PC just for Roblox to work again.

Bump, this is still happening.
Try to uninstall and re-install again & run try to run it as an administrator
Thanks for the report! We’ll investigate and follow up with updates.
Any updates? Still happening, just less frequently.
Bumping this thread, this still happens and it’s extremely annoying. (I even see it happen in some youtube videos)
This is now affecting me, I’m having the same issue as you.
Yikes, it spreads. It seems to just randomly start happening with seemingly no fix. Welp, welcome to the club. Half the time you can play the game, and half the time you have to wait half a minute while your account disconnects from the crash, how fun. (hopefully roblox fixes this soon)
on your windows search bar, search “disk clean up” it will clean up any temporary files.
i had this similar problem and this helped me
This seems to (temporarily?) fix my issue for now. It doesn’t seem to be crashing. I’ll update you if it happens again.
This is now happening again, it temporarily fixes the issue, but not forever.
Yeah, you can see the YouTuber Flamingo is being affected by this in one of his latest videos now.
this bug is from a windows 11 update regarding 24h2. its been talked about multiple times on the dev forum and the best thing to do right now is to use fishstrap (assuming that ive been using it and the crash hasnt happened frequentally) or downgrade.
no if it was that it would say like detecting something messing with the client or something
