For those that don’t know, .ogg files provides features mp3 does not offer including looping audio without pauses.
Unfortunately in Safari, since even the old Create page, you cannot upload .ogg files. You’re required to open an alternative browser like Chrome and upload from there.
Expected behavior
Safari should be able to upload a .ogg file just like Chrome can. It’d save me time and likely account security by being signed into only one browser for all of my developer needs. Thank you.
This problem occurs to me in Mozilla Firefox (Last Version, on Windows 10)
I used to be able to continue using the legacy page but it was completely removed recently.
Upload it as an mp3 and it will become an OGG.
I’m pretty sure these issues are very closely related.
I don’t know if Audios are just wacky on MacOS or what, but additionally you’re unable to listen to audio in the Marketplace via Safari on MacOS.
if you do my workaround it works?
Phew, I thought I was the only one that was wondering why it wasn’t working.
Haha, if you didn’t already find a solution you can listen to audios on the marketplace via Chrome or Roblox Studio. Though it’s an unfortunate workaround, and seeing as a large developer-base of Roblox is using MacOS I believe that this should be fixed.
Not entirely sure if it’s related to Asimo’s original post though…
Hey I don’t know how on-topic this also is but it doesn’t work in iPad and Mac OS both in chrome and safari everything latest version (windows works fine)
