Try in the game, sometimes my scripts don’t work unless I’m in the game.
Still no luck, sadly.

I’m really not sure as it should work. Tomorrow after school work I’ll try to make a script that works.
Shouldn’t the BillboardGui placed in StarterGui? That way the LocalScript will work.
I’m pretty sure it still should work even if it’s in the billboard I’ve had local scripts in billboards and it still worked. (That we’re in the workspace)
Problem is, then the BillboardGui will no longer be joined the the part that needs to be click and dosent have anywhere to sit on.
BillboardGui has a property called Adornee which allows you to set where the Gui is displayed in the Workspace.
On default, the BillboardGui will be displayed on the Part parent if Adornee is nil. So you should try that and see if it’s the same as in Workspace.
I tried this and it opens up a whole new host of problems such as clones not including the billboard gui since it is not part of it, remote events not being able to properly edit the gui (?)
“BillboardGui is not a valid member of Part “kabob” - Server - clone:4”
“BillboardGui is not a valid member of Part “Workspace.Folder.kabob” - Client - LocalScript:2”
I’ll have a model for you tommorow at like 4-5 EST and I can tell you how it works if you’d like
Thanks

Hey, I did abit more work and fiddled around and implemented it into my code, however two problems have emerged
-
The gui decreases in size automatically, not when you click.
-
The gui is decreasing along both axis, however I want it to decrease only along the X.
Heres a video with the problems:

That’s the link to the model I made for you.
Thank you so much. I’m looking over the code and I can almost clearly see what everything does and why I need to do that now.
I can’t thank you enough.
No problem! also i made it go down by 50 offset because doing /4 didn’t really work
