125 robux is less than 50 cents, I wouldn’t call that whopping.
125 * 0.0035 = $0.44
Oh wow I didn’t even know that existed!
Sorry if my plugin is the same, I really didn’t about it’s existence. Please message me if you want me to take down the plugin
It was an exaggeration, but I personally don’t think plugins should be of any cost, they are more-a-less just tools to quicken the experience of doing X, Y objectives. (Subjective to my field as a programmer, I can see how tools can be used outside of my role.)
Alongside this, I was pretty sure, but not now that ROBLOX was designed to help children create games, and something tells me children struggle with getting Robux, this be for plugins or their own character design; A clear example of this would be the game which is built on asking others for investment.
We can continue this discussion going forward with PM’s (if chosen too) as it’s got little-no relevance to this post.
How can i re-design the UI’s to look more modern? (character limit)
Thanks for the idea. I’ll add a functionality to redesign the ui.
Update version 2.1!
Change log :
Ability to delete scripts (Go to server storage scripts and delete the script you want)
Fixed when rejoining / re-enabling the plugin creating multiple folders and not displaying the scripts made before
A $10 robux gift card gives 800 robux.
10/800 = 0.0125
125 * 0.0125 is about $1.56
thats devex wise.
125 * .0035 = .4375 – if u devex
Actually, “Execute script” is an option in studio already. It only accepts .lua files though.
You should use the DockWidgetPluginGui
API for your plugin.
I suggest adding a DockWidget
to your plugin and possibly a way to have a “history” of scripts you used before.
Could you elaborate by what do you mean by history of scripts? Because the scripts already save
Like in the command bar where you can scroll through the recently used commands used.
Have you ever gone into a tool shop, asked for a screwdriver, and expected it to be free?
You could screw that screw in with your bare hands, or simplify the process completely.
Yet these tools have taken hours upon hours to create. There’s no incentive to make a plugin if you’re not earning money from it, which’ll not only lower the quality of the plugin marketplace but also decrease its size.
A child wouldn’t even know what a plugin is.
Your last sentence is completely wrong, my 9 year old brother which is very interested in roblox developing already knows a lot of stuff about roblox studio, scripting and developing in general.
I know this is subjective and all, but it seems better to charge it for around 50-300 Robux considering that these people put lots of time and effort in creating plugins that change Roblox development.
You hard worked on a plugin, for what cost? you will say this to yourself?
I remember just starting to make games and seeing mostly all plugins being paid my work was really slowed down. That’s why I made this plugin free.
I will be doing an another full revamp to make the UI look more fresh, more functionality and better performance.
Since they’re that smart they would be earning Robux somehow and would be able to afford a 40-cent plugin.
