Script isn't working the way it should be [SOLVED]

I absolutely do. My code introduces QoL features, robustness, and accounts for edge-cases. Considering these things when developing games is what draws the line between poor and good quality

I just think for making some ui text appear on part touch this is way too complicated. I understand your code but think it’s overkill

There are more objective reasons why my code is preferable than not. It’s up to the developer to choose their craft’s quality. For me, this level of work is effortless, so I have no subjective reasons to choose otherwise

That’s fine, I prefer not to complicate things if I can do them in a simpler way. Only if it doesn’t compromise in quality.

I don’t know why my solution didn’t work for OP, could be the parts didn’t load in yet. If so he’d have to also check for children being added to the folder and bind a touched connection to those too alongside the original loop through the folder.
