Script Recovery screen wont go away on studio

Hello, whenever I go to work on a place on Roblox Studio I get the Script Recovery screen, but when I try to close this screen the Studio app goes unresponsive. Is there a way I can turn of Script Recovery? Also, it does this for EVERY game i try to work on, not just one game.

It happens to me too, I have deleted scripts and it wont stop popping up. I have over 5 games with the issue. I need to know how to fix this too.
Edit: It does not go unresponsive, I just want to disable it.

Not really sure which screen that is but I’m guessing it could be the “Team Create” that is on? One time I was trying to edit a game of mine and I kept getting a message after trying to play the game to test it. Turns out, somehow Team Create turned itself on and that was the reason.

For Script Recovery
This has never really been an issue for me, It helps you when you save changes or delete scripts
Not sure if you can disable it or not

One way you can Remove Script Recovery from appearing is to Click X on all the stuff inside, so the next time you join, it wont appear, as it has nothing to show

For the Crashing
This could happen if you have faulty or Outdated Drivers, T recommend Updating them if that’s the case

I have this exact same issue.

It seems to only effect teamcreate, and it’s INCREDIBLY annoying to deal with, as it freezes my studio any time i open it up for around 20 seconds before i can begin working.

Theres no way to “Close” the script its asking me to recover, because no edit was even made to that script, I had just accidentally closed my studio with the script open, there’s nothing to even change in it.

Same here. I straight up DESPISE Script Recovery. It doesn’t recover my script, but it wastes my time since I keep having to wait for Studio to fully load so I can resize this stupid little window so I can actually close it and start working.

Click the X’s on the top right of the scripts.

Why would I do that if reopening Studio after that tells me I have even more script changes?

dont close studio without closing your scripts then.

It likely tells you this because it is likely that your scripts failed to save which does happen, The saving system is not perfect, It has its fair share of issue’s, and yet people think it would work all the time.

I have tried refreshing the Studio app.

I have tried reinstalling the Studio app.

I have tried updating my computer.

I expect to be able to work on games but instead I get this screen:

if the script recovery tab is this small to you, expand it by using the little space called the border between the ‘tab UI’ and the edge of the tab. For some reason the X on each script is hidden if it’s too small

This is definitely something ROBLOX should look into updating.
Thanks for the post, all other replies go too in-depth without actually addressing the issue of simply deleting the scripts from the menu

AH! this solved it, for some reason the X wasn’t showing when docked.

Does anyone know if this has been reported as a bug? This has been driving me and my boy mad for like months straight. We had no idea the X was bugged unless you moved the dock around.

NGL you really solved my issue. Mine was always so minimized thinly in studio that It didn’t show the x symbol to remove scripts from the list I feel so dumb. Thank you man.

You should’ve posted this in the Studio Bugs forum page, but I won’t entirely blame you because it’s about script recovery.

1: Team Create

One reason can be Team Create being enabled, since the game you’re working on is online, and one person accidentally not saving, can lead up to script recovery being useful later on, hence why it’s always appearing. Probably because one of your creators constantly forget to save what they have implemented into the game, and script recovery enables to everyone because of that one person.

That’s all I know.
