Setting the transparency, or destroying part to certain players

Absolutely nothing. This is soo frustrating. The click thing comes up, but then nothing happens, no errors or print.

No idea to be honest.
Just recreated it on a blank baseplate - worked like a charm.

In my opinion that’s way overcomplicated. What they hgad for badges was good enough.

I remade the scroll using Roblox parts, let’s see what will happen.

I don’t see what the problem is in your script but i had it happen to me recently that a function was not fireing unless i put an error in it on purpose. If that’s what’s happening it’s just roblox studio shenanigans and with me restarting roblox studio worked. :man_shrugging:

Well its good that I don’t care for your opinion

If you add me to the teamcreate, I may be able to locate an issue

It doesn’t work. your script ____

have you tried game.Workspace.BScroll and also putting it under the game.Workspace.BScroll.ProximityPromt

Sure. I’ll add you now to the testing server.

What… I don’t follow you? _____

I can’t add you to edit? Is there a reason why?

Dunno, I sent you a friend request, try accepting it then re-adding

Sorted! You can now edit. Do you mind having a look for me?

I mean just try putting the line where BScroll changes transparency under the line where ProximityPromt connect with function player or just change the line from workspace to game.Workspace is this more understandable?

Upload this to a place and join it in a live server and it will work

Badge.rbxl (35.3 KB)

In the place I am added to, the remote function is never fired.
Try adding game.ReplicatedStorage.DestroyBScroll:FireClient(player) in BuilderScrollScript

edit: seems to make it work when I add it
