i like thoose sculpts did u made on blender, and whats the tool that u ue do make more details, draw tool?
You may want to use the decimate feature in blender to reduce the number of polys as that look like 100K+ polys and roblox only accepts 10K and less polys. (most UGC items are limited to around 5K to 1K.) So I recommend to reduce the number of polys before submitting your application.
i made a sign
Yeah Iāve already read up on the UGC creation guidelines and like I said, those are hats Iāve produced that will need retopology and then it will most likely end up with a lower poly count below 4k.
Not to forget, I use ZBrush to create a Hi-resolution model in order to bake it onto a lower-resolution model. I think one of the UGC creators FrancklinDay does this with his hats and they turn out really detailed.
OoO i guess im test Zbrush out, bt u do the sculpting there too?
substance 3D painter works well for this too.
Yeah but I end up using substance 3d painter as a texturizer
oh me too for sure! I meant you can get some high-level details in texture that doesnāt cost you in geometry.
It is indeed Halloween time.
(Joke lol)
I was bored and decided to make a headā¦and I love candy corn sooo I just had too do it. Please let me know what you think and tips!
Also, if you are interested in uploading this on the catalog please dm me. I am paying.
Haha, I guess great minds think alike. Also, that looks incredible! How long did it take you? I have yet to get into sculpting which I am guessing is how you created that masterpiece. Canāt wait to see it on the catalog.
That is actually all modeling rather than sculpting. The detail is all in the texturing and that is done with Substance Painter.
Wow, Iām astonishedā¦great job otherwise. Keep up the work! I hope you get in the program if your not already!
Thank you! I just got in actually.
awsome! iām also trying to get inā¦Just decided to find an uploader instead now for the time being. its hard though to find uploaders sadly.
This is really cool, dit you pant it by yourself?
how does this have anything to do with ugc?
Thank you! And yes (except the wood at the bottom - I used procedural nodes to make it look like that)
