what’s wrong with it? i quite like this new design
that’s what the whole design was loosely based off of. I did originally put that transparent strip down the side too, but decided against it in the end, since you wouldn’t be able to cover the coregui buttons
This is much better! How did you make the avatar icons so smooth?
How did you get so good at UI design? What programs do you use?
not sure what you mean by this? the avatars themselves are just off their respective profile pages, the status icons are the SVGs directly from the website
thanks! not sure I’m “so good,” but years of practice, and always consider consistency
I solely use Figma, which is a free web app!
Do you have a picture of your first UI you ever made?
I suppose this would be one of my first Roblox UIs. I made it originally in 2009 when GUIs were first released and then updated it slightly later when they added more features.

Interesting
I am not a huge fan of the search bar animation, creates some sort of messy-ness because the search icon is overlaying with the textbox while it is being animated.
If you are fine with breaking Roblox Studio’s UI design, I’d say its better to make it so the text and search is centred, and then animate search to left, and animate to left too. Kinda like macOS
Hmm, that’s an interesting idea. I completely agree in relation to the icon overlaying the text! I might give that a go and see how it looks. Thanks for the feedback!
Style: Modern
Program used: Roblox Studio
Please note, I did not think of this design. I saw it on the “What are you working on currently?” thread last year and decided to make it in Roblox studio and script it.

Very poor compression because gif.
@nana_kon I like the overall aesthetic style of it, the animation seems a bit ropey using Flipper though. what’s your verdict?
perhaps I should use two separate motors for the icon and textbox?

Try
I will Thank you for the suggestion
Decided to try out making UI for vertical orientation for phones, seems promising so far!
and it is very user-friendly, as everything is pretty much reachable in this scenario!
Here’s the one in desktop:
