Specific settings option no longer visible?

If I recall correctly, in settings there used to be an option to turn on/off your developer forum profile being public. I can no longer locate this specific option in settings. Was it removed permanently, or is it still here and I’m just blind?

I don’t recall such an option ever being present in settings, unless I just never noticed it. Then again, I don’t recall coming across a private developer forum profile either.

Yes, there was a feature to hide your profile, however it was removed several months ago. I’m not sure if it’s hidden with HTML or internally removed, however I believe native discourse still supports it. These options were removed because they don’t serve any purpose in our forum.

As @wevetments stated. A few backend changes.
however I notice that the solution mark on the title is now different. minor change it is
the option to hide your public profile also appears to have been removed. Must be why I can now view profiles that were hidden before.

Users who had “Hide Public Profile” set to true are still hidden

There was a recent change to hide the “Hide Public Profile and Presence Features” setting from forum members, however members who had this enabled are still hidden and probably have no way of unhiding their profile.

This setting was enabled accidentally earlier in the year and disabled some time later. Users were never intended to be able to hide their profile.
