company that don’t give a shit about players, instead of complicating and limiting sponsorship you could make a recommendation in roblox like youtube, if you put a video on youtube it at least some views but it gains! and if you create a game and publish it in roblox it will never gain visits itself, roblox should recommend the game again only that does not contain viruses from toolbox and not empty place.
i’m agree im 15 year old and i only gained 10k visits to my first game only by sponsoring it with old feature that from old roblox, they destroying old roblox
roblox is no longer POWERING IMAGINATION they even copyright kevin macleod songs
yes i loved that sponsoring feature, when they added pending feature on robux in game vault even for small price for example: someone donated you 1 robux and you have to wait fucking 3-5 days to gain the golden beatiful your first robux.
let me explain for you capitalist 20 credits is 285 robux multiplied by 20 equals 5700,for real with that much robux i could already buy clothing or accessory
some one must for real make ultimatum for roblox
I’m truly devastated. I’m just a solo developer who, on November 26, 2022, was seriously working on creating a game for the first time, fully focused on finishing it. I didn’t pay attention to the changes happening—actually, I didn’t even know about them in 2023. So I assumed the old system was still available.
By November of last year, I was close to finishing the game. All I had left was completing the GUI, cover, and a few other details. Then I remembered I needed to check the most important thing: marketing. When I went to the site, I noticed it looked different. At first, I thought it was just a visual update. But when I checked the payment system, I realized it was entirely different—and that it would cost a fortune to promote my game.
I felt completely discouraged. All I ever wanted was to create a fun game for players to enjoy. I wasn’t even interested in earning Robux—I had plans to give them away in my donation game through tournaments, challenges, and other activities so players could earn exclusive items. But the new system ruined all my plans.
I just wanted something I could call my own and share with others, but I’ve had to delete everything from the place I was building in Roblox Studio. My budget just couldn’t cover the costs. Honestly, I didn’t aim for a game with 500,000 visits—just 100 or even 500 would’ve made me happy.
Now it feels impossible—unless by some miracle someone donates R$100,000,000 to me in Pls Donate. But that’s unrealistic. Since January 2023, everything has been handled so poorly. Only the creators of the top 10 popular games can afford the costs without worrying about losing R$1M.
They’re going to lose talented solo developers, and it’s official: they’ve driven us to extinction. It’s as if they’re raising prices because they think they’re running out of money.
I’m sorry for my words, but this is all my heart can express .
I keep coming back to this, and I’m appalled that despite all the backlash, Roblox has done nothing to make advertising more accessible and affordable to small developers.
I am a developer with a successful game and lots of robux, and even I find the ads to be very expensive and ineffective. I haven’t had a successful campaign since before the old system was depreciated.
Small developers who are just starting up don’t stand a chance with this system.
they gonna real make recommendation just like youtube gonna recommend a little
I decided to bite the bullet here and actually try this ads manager. It’s been a while, so I was willing to give it a proper chance to see what it’s all about.
I go to make a campaign, and I see this
Both budgets need a minimum of 20 credits. I wasn’t made aware of this when I put my Robux in, I’ve always heard the minimum requirement was 10.
There’s even parts of the site still saying that you need a minimum of 10.
People who’ve used the ads manager before: am I doing something wrong here, or did I seriously just lose all my Robux?
EDIT: Never mind I figured it out, I just needed to set the daily budget lower. Problem solved.
well same happend to me about 6 months ago after i invested almost 350 hours into making my solo game , way too expensive for small devs
