Sponsoring Problem

Hello, I’m PLX, and I sponsored my game for 10 ad credits 3 hours ago, I’m quite disappointed, the results weren’t too good. Here are the results:

Do I have to wait more than 3 hours? Usually, my game would reach a high boost at hour 1, or even less than an hour, is this a bug? Or is my game just not looking good for other players? Or did I get scammed by Roblox?

Also here’s the game Icon if you’re wondering what it looks like:

You would have had much more impressions if it was using the normal ADS on the website.
In-game, people tend to play more than watch ads.
Sadly roblox is deprecating ads on the website.

Personally, and not to be rude. the icon is really bad and not appealing in any way, so that might be the case.
And then yes what @Master3395 said lol

I did use the Roblox website tho

The sponsored ads only go on the /games/ page.
People either block that or ignore ads there.
I would have watched it if it was a skyscraper or rectangle ad on a profile.
But not on a games page.
If i go to the games page, i would look for a specific category or something to play, not to watch ads.
Not your fault.

From what I’ve heard/seen the Roblox sponsoring system is just trash. Theres a good chance its not something you did and actually just a problem with the system itself. My reccomendation would be to be patient, and maybe if you can afford it run a few different campaigns using different styles (In experience portals work shockingly well, or just play around with target audience filters with sponsored experience.) and if you have a good game, retention rates should reflect that, organically growing your game.

tbh I can agree with you, roblox sponsoring system just sucks, and it sometimes not that bad tbh, last few times I sponsored my game making it reaches a ranch between 200-800 CCU, but the more I sponsor, the worse stats it gets…

Agreed that banner/skyscraper ads were much more appealing, but I’d disagree that sponsored experiences arent seen/played. True most people dont go through the sponsored section, but sponsored games popping up in search results has gained lots of players from my personal experience. But I think your general idea that the new ads system is just trash is completely right.

I’ve seen a similar game to mine, they sponsored their game a few times, and their game is now successful, without sponsoring, so I got inspired by that

Seen that dozens of times on games Ive worked on/known creators who made. Ads aren’t what they used to be honestly. At this points ads are meant to attract some initial players to your game, then its up to your game being good to retain them, which will in turn cause roblox to recommend your game to more players organically. The best form of advertising on roblox today is simply making a good and fun to play game
