In R6 and R15, the still on-sale Spy Bird accessory (Spy Bird - Roblox) sits on top of the player’s head instead of on one of the shoulders.
The accessory is set to be a shoulder accessory with the left shoulder attachment ingame. This leads the accessory to not properly move with the player’s head as it isn’t attatched to it, but for some reason is placed on the head anyways.
Shown is how the accessory looks ingame when the player moves.
When the player moves, the bird follows the shoulder which causes it to clip with the players head or float above it forwards/backwards away from its original position. This can also cause it to completely move away from the head with certain animations, leaving it to float midair.
Expected behavior
The accessory is clearly meant to be fixed to the head, so it should have a HatAttatchment instead of a LeftCollarAttatchment. It should also be updated on the marketplace to be a Hat Accessory and not a Shoulder Accessory.
He’s not going for the accessory type, he’s going for the attachment of said item. Rather than it following his shoulder while on his head, he wants to change it to where it follows his head so it doesn’t clip anymore. But, yes I do agree he cannot get the type changed rather than the attachment.
Thank you for your report. We updated the Accessory so that it uses the Hat Attachment instead. The position and Accessory Type remain unchanged, but the bird should move with the Head now. Please let us know if you see otherwise.
