Talk to the quest NPC at spawn to unlock quests to defeat each of the four awakened beacons to unlock a unique enemy ship. Only available for a limited time.

Introducing the Juggernaught Carrier, Light Battlecruiser and Missile Battlecruiser. The Juggernaught Carrier is durable and slow, capable of dealing high damage - while the Light and Missile Battlecruisers are weaker but faster and more potent!
New Luxury Starship Yachts
3 New Incredible luxury starships have been added. The Hyper Yacht - Pinnacle of Opulance, Super Yacht and Captain’s Yacht are now available, all decorated with lavish and extensive interiors.
Memory Optimizations
We’ve made optimizations to our planet loading system in order to reduce server memory usage. Enjoy less frequent supernova events, and longer lasting servers!
New Default Controls
The default speed changing controls have been changed to W and S in order to improve new player experience! Don’t like this? No problem, you can change it back in the Keybinds menu, accessable through settings.

Spawning a ship has never been easier, as we’ve re-added the much loved favourites system as well as a recent ship carousel. You can choose between viewing either in the spawn menu and your choices will save!
Base Building UI Improvements
We’ve revamped the Base Building UI to make it cleaner and easier to use, as well as adding new features to it such as the ability to view a detailed breakdown of your Research production and a much clearer display of cargo module biome effectiveness!
Drone Overhaul
The Drone UI has been improved with tons of useful features, such as being able to view the respawn time for your drones and accurately displaying drone health. We’ve additionally fixed a variety of bugs with the drone system to provide a more stable experience!
Sector Map Warnings
We’ve added new warning displays so you can see if a star system contains a threat before jumping - never fly into a supernova again! Additionally the battlecruiser has been buffed and will now provide a true threat to any system in which it activates!
Performance Improvements
We’ve improved performance to reduce freezing when ships load! Enjoy a smoother experience as you fly around the cosmos!

All ship turrets have been sent back to the factory to have manufacturing defects and tolerances adjusted, fixing any aiming offset issues!
Improved Quest Tracking!
Track quest objectives and progress at a glance with the new Quest Tracking menu! Additionally, never miss any received quests with the new quest indicator system added to the on-screen quest button!
New Missile Models

We’ve added tons of new ships! From the opulant Limousine Cruiser to the powerful Ballistic Bomber. The Laser Bomber excells at destroying foes with its laser focused arsenal, while the new Long Range Destroyer features special Orbital Cannon based weaponary! Attack your foes from below with the Schräge Musik Bomber.
Overhauled NPC Trading
We’ve created a new NPC trading system, allowing you to easily unlock ships and purchase or trade with a variety of NPC characters using this new window.
New Lobby Model
Remodeled from scratch the new lobby is a truly grand entrance to STARBASE, and making it easier to get around with better views and less clutter.
Augment Upgrades
Combine multiple lower grade augments together for rarity upgrades with the help of new NPC, Artificer Aubrey who can be found in the lobby.
FTL Improvements
With greatly improved stability and new features, getting around the map at lightspeed has never been easier. You can now see FTL alignment and charging progress seperately and the captain can cancel jumps at any time.
Control Your Quests!
We’ve changed the quest UI so that you can now more easily pause quests to temporarily stop progress counting to them.
Auto Target Locking
When firing your weapons at an enemy, your target will now automatically lock on to help new players with aiming. Not a fan of this system? It can be turned off in the “Gameplay Settings” section of the Settings menu.
Targeting Improvements
Now when selecting a target, you’ll be able to see their equipped augments and crew bonuses letting you have a much better idea of the threat posed by an enemy ship. You’ll also see the recommended weapon to attack with in the artillery gui!
