This is happening on my dad’s laptop too.
The window won’t close until I go to processes in the task manager and end it manually.

Tried both Merely’s and zeuxcg’s fixes, but Studio won’t update. It says it’s up to date every time I open it, from the website or otherwise. The regular ROBLOX player won’t update either.
Now I get this in Studio:
I uninstalled the ROBLOX Player, removed the ROBLOX folder, then clicked “Edit” on my project. The Player reinstalled, Studio updated, and it’s working great.
Why is this affecting only a few users, and the fixes working for some and not others? :uhhh:

Close your web browser completely (even in the process) and then try to remove it. There’s a .dll in the folder used by your browser to launch ROBLOX.

Someone asked earlier why this is happening, we are pretty sure there is some bug with how we are downloading and extracting zip files with our bootstrapper. Luckily we are also working on updating the bootstrapper so I think we can take a look at this problem at the same time.
