I’m using the latest Chrome version, and it’s running with NO administrative privileges.
If I open Studio using a direct link like https://www.roblox.com/home?editPlaceId=12345678, the problem is NOT happening (it will NOT install on C:\Program Files (x86)\Roblox\Versions).

I have the same issue where studio requires administrator permission to install. I can’t install it to my local user anymore.
This prevents me from opening .rbxl files without using the “Open” dialog. Additionally, when studio updates I need to check this box every single time:

This is exactly what I did, and it caused so much confusion that I had to completely remove my Roblox and set it all up again WITHOUT ADMINISTRATIVE PRIVILEGES.
Studio keeps trying to install itself on C:\Program Files (x86)\Roblox\Versions\.
