Studio is so sluggish right now that I literally cannot open scripts by clicking, it recognises the double click as a single click only because of how slow it is.

Same, blamed it on Mac
Same, even after highlighting objects in the explorer it takes a few seconds before they are actually selected.
Interesting! I experienced it last evening and I just chalked it up to my own code. Glad I don’t have to debug anything there.

I’ve been running into this a lot too, mostly noticing it after editting a script.
Yeah I was scripting last night and it got pretty unbearable, I had to take 2 breaks to reset my computer thinking I had some problem with my CPU, glad I saw this thread!
I had this a few hours ago.
Although it seemed to fix itself after I went into Play Solo.
still happening, it’s so annoying to try to script in studio right now

Yeah, started happening to me as well. Only noticed it yesterday though.
Yep, experiencing the same thing, especially with bigger places… need to restart studio completely for it to fix

edit: probably not since studio starts lagging as soon as i open it
It got so bad for me (Windows 10) that when ever I clicked “stop” studio would stop responding for ~30-40 seconds

Any word on this? I’m not looking forward to dealing with this for multiple days just because of the weekend. It’d be great if the responsible change could be identified and reverted before then.

This appears to be caused by starting play solo while a script is in view (It gets worse every time this happens). I’m currently investigating the cause.
EDIT: Should be fixed now. Let me know if a Studio restart doesn’t fix this

Reopened Studio and started play solo with a script open a bunch of times – the issue appears to be resolved. I can’t put into words how thankful I am you were able to fix this before the weekend. You’ve saved us all a ton of headache.

Interesting… I wasn’t hitting play solo. I was just running a command in the command bar to test out my code. Each invocation was getting slower and slower…
I trust it’s fixed though. 
I Have rarely got this issue but when i get it, it gets pretty slow.(Win10)
I have crashed once by this issue, but good thing is that it have not happened to me again lately.
Again, this is one of the reasons I love this platform. You guys are so quick to listen and address issues, and communicate back to the users. Haven’t seen any other platform willing to do that at no price.
