Maybe you can “manually” start the app instead? Or just use Bloxstrap for god’s sake. (no endorsement intended, but it’s indeed a much better launcher with many QoL features & improvements.)

(the command to install is “winget install Microsoft.DotNet.DesktopRuntime.6 Bloxstrap” - Do you know that command line, package based installs are much safer than scouring the internet for installers? That’s one of the reasons Linux is safer than Windows.)

fine if you still want to use the bad launcher, edit the Roblox Player shortcut to RobloxPlayerBeta.exe (check your Roblox Versions folder), go to the Target box and append the “--app” parameter after the RobloxPlayerBeta.exe path. Should look like this: (it should be Roblox Player instead of Studio but whatever because I don’t use the official roblox launcher anymore)

After that, just open the shortcut as usual and you should see the Roblox app running.

Hi, I tried but it doesn’t work either with Bloxstrap doesn’t work. That is the Roblox version, so we have to wait until Roblox updates.
