Temp read failed?

I’m trying to use a sound in my game that was granted me through the new Friends asset privacy for sounds but whenever I try to use it it won’t play in live game (throws temp read failed) but it can play fine in studio? why?

It seems to be a roblox bug. I found a few posts about this here;

It seems that you need to own the assets in order to play/use it.

Many things work fine is studio because of how it runs the code. It’s nothing to worry about.

Well the thing is I can even play it in the website meaning I can technically use the asset but not in live game for whatever reason

You can play many things on the website even if you don’t remotely own it.

Well not sounds though you can’t listen to sounds you don’t own or have access to.

You can? I have done that many times on the website.

Weird, well I still would like to know why I can’t use any sounds, they all throw Temp read failed, I tried following directions to the new asset privacy page but no vail.

I listed some topics above. Have you read them? Also you can google the same error code and many results will show up explaining why.

Fixed it by apparently having to add the sound id in the Permission page on my experience through creator hub.

Never thought that my post will end up in others lol
