Did you not read the reply you responded to? It sometimes breaks at 1 badge. That 100% affects normal games. Also, I think you forget there are many “normal games” with lots of badges which would definitely be affected by this, such as Find the X games and obbies.
Plus I don’t think many people are going to care if they are “spammed with unwanted badges” without warning, if they really care that much they can delete them.
While this may be true, the solution is just to use a queue system until Roblox can get things fixed on their end. The debate on “how much is too much” is moot when no one really knows what “design” limit Roblox is trying to implement. It might be 1 badge per second or 1 million badges per second, we don’t know. But we can build something to work around this and not debate it for all eternity.
This is likely a different issue such as the api going down rather than a rate-limit, the original post was talking about awarding hundreds of badges in a short length of time.
