The Dusekkar item has a script inside that was made for Matt Dusek so whenever he wore the item, the flames stay enabled and would get disabled for anyone else who wore it. However, Matt Dusek does not play Roblox anymore and has not for a while. The item is one of 3 exclusive flaming pumpkin items and therefore should have the flames inside enabled and the script disabled so it works for everyone as the rest of the flaming pumpkin heads do not have said script and work for all.
This is too egregious of a change, similar to the issues stemmed from the Clockwork headphone rework.
Instead, an alternate change would be to set the Fire instance to disabled and change the script to enable it if Matt Dusek is wearing Dusekkar in order to fix the thumbnails.
This isn’t what the post what about, it was meant for the script to be disabled so it works both in-game and in thumbnails. I also feel like the owners wouldn’t mind having it fixed in-game but I’d have to ask as I do not own it myself.
This is what I mean by ‘too egregious’. The flames are there for a reason: they’re exclusive to Matt Dusek and enabling it for every player diminishes the importance of the accessory. Again, refer to the Clockwork Headphones mesh change.
If anything, my alternate idea would at least keep the integrity of the item while fixing the thumbnail if the idea is even considered.
The hat was made for Matt Dusek, and the flames are exclusive to him. Kind of like the Bunny Ears incident.
