This is awesome, really takes away all the worries about getting to the tier you need to devex awayโฆ
Though itโd be REALLY helpful if on the CashOut page the $ equivalent is displayed once you enter in the amount of Robux youโre want to DevEx. (and of course support for other currency calculations)
You should already be paying tax on devex, itโs a business income. Depending on your country, you will probably need to self assess your income and expenses and submit these to your relevant tax authority.
However, Iโd love to see the minimum robux required to cash out lower in the future, as most developers (like me) have to work hard to get a profitable game so that they could DevEx.
I agree, although Roblox may be keeping it realistic in comparison with a real life job. Most jobs, you only get one pay day a month (unless youโre paid weekly).
If you were to do anything more, knowing how much of your R$ is devexable would be great. Otherwise making it so if I devex 750K and it turns out only 500,324R$ was devexable then it just devexes that 500k for me rather than rejecting the sum.
Not sure if this has been answered by Roblox staff yet, but how is the rounding going to work with the robux? Should we stick to as rounded of a number as we can (e.g., 123,000 instead of 123,456) or is there a system in place about how the fractional cents would work?
This is perfectly timed for my first DevEx! With a commission Iโve recently been doing, the payment would make me have a total of around 250k robux, including all my previous robux. Now I can cash out that extra 50k as well
Donโt quote me on this but I believe that itโs there mainly to filter out between the people who earned their robux through developing and the people who earned larger sums of money through other means (e.g., limiteds, buying robux).
If not all of the Robux are devexable, will the entire sum get rejected, or just the ones that werenโt acceptable?
It takes about R$3 to make $0.01 USD. Will Robux that were not able to earn the next penny be returned to me, will it act as a sort of credit toward my next cash out, or will it just be eaten?
