Touched event is not firing

Well, you also mentioned that you would clone the cash parts and that the script is parented under the cash part, that way, we provided multiple solutions.

Yeah, thats right. But the issue is the same. onTouch event is not firing at all.

Then .CanTouch is set to false or your script isn’t running. Put a print statement at the very beginning of your script and see if it prints or not.

Isn’t script should not run when it is in ReplicatedStorage?

No, also did you know that the character limit is a very interesting feature?

It’s broken for alot of people atm, It’s been broken for like a week for me and I’ve tried to find a reason why but it’s probably some roblox bugs.

Specify, what is broken?? ccccc

That’s what I’m trying to find, but the :touched event is broken on roblox for the most developers.

Well… The fun fact, that onTouch event is firing only when part was inserted in workspace already, and was pre-loaded. But when i clone it from ReplicatedStorage, its not firing at all

onTouch event is not working for me and alot of others though.

Are you Firing the Event to Client or Server?

That is because the .Touched event doesn’t connect to cloned part if you connect it to only the origin part. You need to connect it to the cloned parts as well. I’ve mentioned it before in this topic.

to the server (wow 3O character limit are sooooo pretty fun)

Where is that written? It works perfectly fine for me.

everywhere on devforum and twitter if u search…

Not sure what to say about that tbh. I’ve never experienced the .Touched event being broken.

it wasn’t, there was other issues about it. Mb

Weird how this topic just reached 57 replies. We’ve complained too much hehe.

Yes, i know you mentioned it. And i also tried it, and no result.

.Touched event isnt broken, i used my kill part script and it still works, but what if its actually the leaderstats cash name is different and we are all mistaking it?
