Trex looking for second Scripter for gun mechanics/combat 25% game income

Please keep the following in mind before posting:

Currently looking for a secondary scripter to handle the gun mechanics of a fast-paced ranked FPS game (Trex). This job will include the following:

  • Gun firing mechanics (reloading, animation modules)
  • Projectiles and Melee weapons
  • Spray patterns akin to those found in Valorant and Counter Strike: Global Offensive.
  • A gun customization system including attachments, skins, etc. safe from exploits.

You will be working with lead scripter @TheGalaxyRBLX, focusing on front-end gameplay engineering.

Payment

You and the other scripter will be get 25% each of the game. In my history with partnerships, I’ve made tons of Robux off only 15%-20% Revenue stream. Although to you it might seem low, it is in no way a small amount. The goal for you is to create a livable income, and we are more than sure with 25% you’ll be able to. Not to mention, based on revenue streams possible bonuses are an option.

Well yes, you gotta lot of robux from 10-15% of the profits because it probably became popular. What happen if the game flops? Will there be backup payment?

It became popular because we had attractive art, an addictive game mode, and tons of funding. The game wasn’t special, it was a Cash Grab. The likelihood of this game getting Top Page is very high. We have the top artist and animators, and almost unlimited funding. It’s apart of the risk of developing games. Not many are daring enough to take it, therefore they rarely see the abundance of rewards these projects can bring. Our team only takes the ones who are ambitious enough to try an entirely new, never seen before play style to Roblox in the aim of creativity, and profits.

How many years of experience in the scripting field do you need?

I don’t care how much you have, if you can show me your work and it IMPRESSES me and you have worked with combat/guns before, that’ll get you on the team.

Do you want the guns to actually shoot out parts or use raycasting?

It’ll be up to you and the lead scripter. We’d have spray patterns for each gun. Example image

Hmm. I haven’t worked a lot with guns, but one of my old projects was an fps game (not sure if it still works.) If I have forgotten how to make a good gun, it would probably take me a few days to learn.

I could probably do this job. I have currently no projects going on.
