UGC Program: Expanding Creation and Monetization with Avatar Bodies and Heads

You’ve got to be joking.
They’re already making headless knockoffs???
Its been 2 days since this new body system was even created.

Wow, that’s why there’s so little?

Excellent , Clothing creators accounts are gettign banned for for shading T shirts to slightly exentuate a waist… But this is completely fine?

So much for a “rip of lego game”

I’ve not got access yet, but it seems like roblox has no support for r6, and has no plans of supporting it.

frrrr, thats why im making my latest game (a fan game for a community im in) have a classic style, complete with gears right from the marketplace, parts with the classic textures (studs, welds, universals, etc), and that kind of stuff

oh, just wait until people start making bundles that are 0.2 studs high, or take up the whole game. this is literally going down the EXACT SAME path as ugc did, and roblox aint gonna do jack squat about it, or at least they aint gonna take action quick enough

bruh, that actually absolutely sucks, maybe we could try convincing them to support r6 since there are actually many users like myself who prefer the classic r6 look

They brought up the 98% percentage for a reason. They want it to be 99% percent. UGC bundles down support 2d faces and I’m not even sure they support 2d clothes. It seems roblox is doing everything they can to get people to ditch r6 aside from removing it.

Thank you for linking this tutorial, as I couldn’t find it anywhere!

I believe they do support Classic Clothing, it’s up to the uploader though.
People have also been disobeying the Animated Face rule, as there’s a few heads that that are textured rather than modeled already.

I was pretty disappointed to see it as I had already made this package in r6, only to find that it won’t even be used. I made an almost identical looking r15 version of course, but given how the package is made, it looks more natural in r6

The sad truth. They simply don’t want to support R6.

R.I.P. Billy.
Gone too soon. At least they kept up the copyright-infringing Freddy Fazbear avatar.

UGC bodies and heads at price floor = 0 is so so so dumb…

Race to the bottom on pricing is now literally at the floor.

Starting to think Roblox hates making money or perhaps wants to gut all UGC creators’ livelihoods.

Heads min price at 50 and bodies at 100, not that hard to make this flawed roll out so much better.

No price floor is really stupid

we’ve come full circle :relieved:

Correct, Roblox is already working on something called Roblox Classic that’ll make R15 simulate R6 animations. So basically a replacement

No price floor and no fee for uploading. Basically all of the uploads so far have been low effort garbage because of it.

Flat/2D Bundles is gonna be crazy, cant wait for it :skull:

(Dont think it would work but they could bypass it)

Right even at the very least if there’s gonna be no price floor, add a serious upload feed to increase quality and help discourage copyrighted and copied content.

Truly the idea of this is good, but it (not surprising) is not moderated well.

This is all hot trash the community made in a few days. I only found two good ones, such as Faceless. I’m also talking about the UGC bodies. I couldn’t find them at all in the marketplace because it’s hard to navigate when it comes to new things.
