UITextSizeConstraint doesn't work in BillboardGuis with TextScaled

Issue Type: Display
Impact: Low
Frequency: Constantly
Date First Experienced: 2021-04-26 00:04:00 (-05:00)
Date Last Experienced: 2021-04-29 00:04:00 (-05:00)

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Create a part
  2. Create a BillboardGui in the part
  3. Set the StudsOffsetWorldSpace to (0, 2, 0) so you can see it
  4. Create a TextLabel in the BillboardGui
  5. Enable TextScaled property
  6. Create a UITextSizeConstraint in the TextLabel
  7. Notice that it ignores the text size constraints

Expected Behavior:
The size of the text on the screen should be limited to the constraints in the UITextSizeConstraint, the same way it does in a ScreenGui.

Actual Behavior:
The text grows beyond the maximum size regardless.

Workaround:
No workaround

Hi @meguy1 - thank you for the bug report! We have a ticket to investigate this. We can’t provide an ETA yet on when we think it will be resolved, however, we’re aware that these issues are impacting the ability to fully utilize Billboard GUIs.

This has still not been fixed. I appreciate the effort put in by those working on the engine and handling reports, but nearly three years without so much as a follow-up as to why this still occurs is unacceptable. It is not uncommon for a report to go ignored for years after an initial reply.

absolutely disappointing this is still ignored
