I can’t change the start place of my game/universe. When I try it from the website, no buttons to change start place appear. When I try it from studio, this appears.
When I try doing what the message says, it apparently uploads the place but when I try editing it it’s still the previous place.
I don’t know what else to try. Changing start places in Roblox very difficult as of now. I don’t get why they’d remove that functionality.
Start Places were never meant to be detached from their game realistically.
Unless my memory is shotty, there is an option in the context menu of the Game’s window in Studio that allows you to swap the Start Place between existing places in your game.
Thanks for your solution. Apparently I was trying to upload it as the start place at the same time a Roblox outage was happening, so it didn’t let me.
I thought my place got corrupt or something, lol.
