This is such a nightmare for discoverability. This shows like 70% less games on the front page.
I guess the idea is kind-of novel, but that’s just it. Novel, not good.

What happened to this update??
This will seriously hurt game discoverability. What were you thinking with this update?
Quite unfortunate that this may mean the removal of Game Icons. With a Game Icon, users could click onto your experience then immediately begin watching a trailer video from the thumbnail viewer. With this new change, I’m presuming video thumbnails will not be allowed in the first slot anymore meaning users may not see them as easily.
It sounds like this expiriment is expanding its reach. But it’s important to know how wide reaching the expirment is. Is it only happening in Mobile, or is it happening on PC too?
Should I be be optimizing my first thumbnail for being viewed very tiny?
Or should I optimize it for the much much bigger splash image that non-expiriment players are seeing?
