Not all younger kids have Robux. And I’ve never seen a kid that has wanted to test out Mac OS so desperately that he or she payed Robux. Infact I have never even met a kid that has wanted to test out Mac OS.

Before you go scrapping this whole thing, just remember that the devforum audience isn’t going to be your player base and that millions of people play ROBLOX.
It isn’t going to be paid access forever it its only while it is in beta
Yeah, thanks ill keep that in mind
a good chunk of our paying customers are kids (Mainly aged 11 - 12 or six and under)
He is asking for feedback and we are giving it. There is no way for us to confirm whether his game will get popular or not we are just giving feedback because it was requested. It’s not like we expect what we say to influence the games popularity.
I understand what you are saying but you have gone past the line of critiquing his work and now are saying stuff like…
…which doesn’t seem to support him rather tell him his work may or may not be trash. Now you are just arguing with him about if people will like his game.
We get it, you have said your feedback. However, please don’t continue harassing them about their work just because you don’t like it.
I am not critizing his work I’m giving an example. What I’m trying to say is how can we confirm it is a real game and not just a weird picture of mac OS. How can we trust the game is what I mean.
You really think someone on Roblox would do all this for a little bit of Robux? You don’t just make a post about a scam on the forum you will get banned and it takes a lot of time to become verified.
I’m not talking about this specific thing. I’m saying lets just say a random person came across the game? How can they confirm its real?
I see your point, but if someone wanted to buy it they would. Nobody is talking about Robux scams here, its just a matter of if they market their game correctly.
Infact, @treemaster565, if you made an official video demonstrating the game and linked it to the games page on the slideshow that would help eliminate all concerns about a potential scam. Plus, you said you were going to make it free in the future anyways, no?
yes it will be free in the future and on my previous posts about this game i gave a video demonstration
This is a cool UI design, but I’m still confused about what exactly is the UX of any of it. Is it to simply showcase an Apple product for those online? If so, what’s to say people can’t just go online and find YouTube videos and commentaries on the devices themselves?
If the goal is to simply send in-game, global messages between users, why not just resort to sending messages on the ROBLOX website? I love the UI, I genuinely do; you’ve constructed it very well, but you seem to be missing the functionality of all of it. After all, you’ve said no one else has made such a thing, but there’s probably a reason for that, i.e., no one gains much from it other than a showcase.
I believe some clarity as to your intentions with this would be helpful.
It is mainly just a showcase of my abilities in UI design but there I will be trying to add more fucntion to the such as you can build you own apps in the game and other people can download them
I don’t see why you would pay for this game when there are already existing emulators available for free with great performance. It’s a great tech demo if working and could function as a unique game if you add a few unique ideas, but I doubt anyone would use it for its features.
Some unique ideas might be a GUI game or a type race or a coding race (maybe a game where you continuously release games through XCode. Sorta like a tycoon.)
Or you could sell the actual GUI itself for other games to incorporate within their systems (like a laptop model).
I would use it as a tech demo or a game but I won’t buy it since I can get it for free with tons more features online.
yeah but as i said before we will try incoperate feature to make players play for longer and also it will be free eventually so currently the paid access is to just let people have a look at what we have paid and fund our development while its in beta
