They already removed messages, now group wall.
Their voice ā¦ most I see is spam & unrelated stuff ā¦ āI was 1stā or āwhat the person said above/below meā (replying to other spam).
I agree they should have a voice - but spam should be deleted.
Repeats should be blocked/banned.
I personally think Roblox is heading somewhere - they wonāt sabotage their income.
I will give them time - use work-arounds.
Besides - itās lazy Devs that donāt have an in-game bug reporting system.
Canāt blame Roblox for that.
Right. As the group owner you need to moderate the group. Maybe make it up to group owners if they want the younger set on the wall. I donāt have a wildly successful game so thatās probably why I donāt have to deal with spam, but I do have a very devoted group and want them all to be able to participate. Ty for your response
These are interesting and very cool changes and updates! Itās great that Roblox is updating groups and making them better!
This is the worst part
Roblox, please do a little thinking about this.
Iām looking forward to these new features! It would be cool if we also got some more settings or maybe an option to ban certain words on the group wall (or later forums) to limit the number of scams like this which I find myself often clearing whenever I look at my group:
Still a cool update though and Iām looking forward to trying it out.
I understand the concern for 13< users, but I want my Roblox Group to serve as a communication space for everyone, not just 13 and up, and this ruins that.
Also, I think Groups could wait: Moderation and Filtering urgently need fixing.
Innocent users are being punished every day while obvious offenders are roaming free. People are still bypassing extremely explicit words, while non-specific words like ādrinkā are turning entire conversations into hashtags.
They are in a growing amount of legal trouble, so said screw it. Delete!
I get what you mean, and I do agree with you. But in what scenario would a player get falsely banned? The only thing I can think of is if a gameās anti-cheat system falsely flags a player, but I donāt see that happening often in the Roblox community.
I really do appreciate the civility, as most people repeat what they hear online without the facts to back it up. I do agree with this, as if a player is falsely flagged as an exploiter, they wonāt be appeal to appeal without a gameās Discord server. This could, in theory, create a large problem for these users to appeal.
I never meant to imply that only developers make good suggestions, Iām sorry if I made it seem that way. At least when Iām developing, most of my best feedback comes from regular players. However, I did see Roblox was planning to allow users to submit anonymous feedback through likes and dislikes, so if this is available to these players then this could potentially be helpful.
I wholeheartedly agree with this statement. I understand not posting for safety, but not being allowed to see potential posts is absurd, especially considering some game development studios post important information on there.
Edit: My fault for not responding sooner, I havenāt had a lot of free time recently.
Is that roblox communities? If so how do I make one?
Actually, thats Guilded, a first party platform owned by Roblox.
A lot of Roblox groups mainly use Guilded for announencemnts on Roblox.
I just really hope they continue adding more Guilded intergrations to Roblox since im honestly worried for Guildeds future ever since they forced Roblox logins to all Guilded accounts.
I actually have taken a Business perspective and Safety perspective on this update. Think like this, only Verified users will be able to communicate. Thus instantly killing all bots on the platform, Gone are the days where your channels are filled with spamming about free Robux. I approve this update as well as removing the complaints from non contributing minors.
What does this mean, exactly?
Can we get a join group prompt ingame already DX
how do i make a roblox communities?
Roblox Communities are NOT here at the moment, theyre still in development.
Well actually, I lied about communities not being here, since Roblox Communities is actually a new name for Roblox Groups, that you are probably already using.
Features such as forums are still in development.
I own a group and guilded and stuff is the group a community?
Yes, it is indeed a Roblox community, just not officially called one.
