The very first print “print(“Detected The Button Press”)” should’ve printed then since it’s above the statement with the key E check.
No there is no other script using ContextActionService and nothing prints when i change the input type
Hmm, try creating another local script and paste the same code that @CipherFunctions has provided.
What do you mean exactly? do you mean if it prints anything outside of the UserInputService event?
Nope this still doesn’t work unfortunately
Is that the whole script you sent?
There isn’t any other code that could stall the execution of the other lines like a while true do loop for example.
Yes that is all the lines of the script i have put all of the lines of code in the box above
Yes do exactly that and see if anything happens.
Yes when i put a print statement outside of the UIS event it prints texts
Try sending a screenshot of the script maybe there’s something we’re missing.
Maybe there could be something wrong with your keyboard?
Maybe, but when i try to press e or any other input outside of roblox studio it works fine i can even execute a command and type in the command box. so its not my keyboard i think, i could be wrong though
Did you try creating a new script and pasting the code not from the old script but from the forum post you made? Since it works for me when I paste it from here.
No this did not work aswell, i even tried going into a new experience to see if that was the issue and it still didn’t work. this is why i’m almost positive it is an issue with roblox studio
Try closing the script, wait a few seconds, then re-open it. Then test it.
I see you’re in a team create.
If you have other team member then does it also not work for them?
Good old turn it off and on and see if it works method lol
This also did not work, i’m super confused why this isn’t working
I do not have another team member with me, so i am unsure
