For a couple of months now I have been forced to use the new beta roblox studio gui because when I use the old one I experience this weird lag:
I have found that this is fixed when I use the new beta gui:
I tried disabling all plugins and reinstalling roblox studio but the lag still happens.
This issue happens in every place, even brand new ones with nothing in them.
The only way I have found to fix this is when I use either the beta studio gui or the beta explorer gui.
I have tested this and same for me roblox have most likely done this due to trying to get more user to swap over to the new user interface, and to be honest roblox studio version 1 was not even the best they are probably going to stop supporting the use of it shortly.
lmaoo no not at all they’re not apple, its laggy because of a bug with QT that makes mouse inputs take a ton of frame time in the viewport for some reason, I used to deal with it a while ago but it went away on its own. The reason I’m assuming they aren’t experiencing the bug in the new version is because it’s a luau rewrite of the studio ui, so not using QT.
