Hi all,
I’ve been using weld constraints for a while, and only recently, almost everything I try to weld, is inactive by default (I am unable to make it active again because the check box is greyed out).
Have I clicked something I shouldn’t have or am I doing it wrong?
Thanks in advance

WeldConstraint Documentation
This property determines if the WeldConstraint
is currently active in the world. If true, it is currently active. If the WeldConstraint or one of its parts is not in Workspace
the weld will be inactive.
In terms, it’ll only be checked if both parts are in the workspace. And the property is read-only so you cannot determine whether or not it is enabled.

Yet I have other welds that work perfectly fine.
This image probably showcases my issue the best.
Thank you for your response though, I didn’t know that.
WeldConstraints on their own become inactive, if they happen to be welded to a part that also shares the same weld to a different part. Because they aren’t needed.
As shown in the image above. The welds connecting the two parts on the Left and Right to the top part are disabled. Because they’re all commonly welded to the bottom part. Which effectively renders those two welds unneeded. In the case I was to disable one of the welds. One of the inactive welds would become active appropriately.

Alright I didn’t know any of that but it makes complete sense. Thanks a lot
