Personal project.
not going to try smart and say I know what it is, because I don’t. I just figured its a FSM because I’m basing it more or less off of @Elmuowo’s code snippets and the AI structuring from L4D2 AI pdf. Probably a tree, dunno.
Besides working on the AI, I am also trying to improve my drawing.
Hour 1
Hour 5 attempt No. 4
I saw that @Maximum_ADHD wrote this page about the mesh file format, so I wrote an implementation of it.
I made a NES for absolutely no reason. Other than lacking the I/O, decals, and top shell taper on the front and back(was too difficult to add after I realized I forgot it), this is a perfectly scaled replica. Didn’t do the bottom because there’s no point.
Hour 7:
Seems good enough… guess its time to go back to programming that AI now… @AllYourBlox What’s the difference between FSM and the behavioral tree AI algorithms? And how to know which one I’m making? xd
I did >:
For the first time in a few weeks, I started studio with an idea of making something. Then 5m after studio loaded (and I was finished being distracted), I just closed studio, realizing I’m too lazy to make something right now. such productive
Have you ever got a Russian tank before?
Nien nien nien.
Pretty cool project. Hopedull you do something with it. Also what happened to your quake project?
Quake Project? Stuck because of an unresolved issue with HumanoidRootPart’s just suddenly dissapearing in the middle of matches breaking the game. It’s been about a month since it started happening and I’ve found no cause whatsoever.
Is it anchored
Yes, the entire character is anchored
Double check. Because I had a recent similar problem with my own character, even though I was CFraming it every frame it eventually fell to the destroy part height on the server due to physics replication issues.
Yeah it is. I even ran a listener which checks the parts Y-position. Never went below the map
I hope you meant German tank…
Oh I know the pain
Appears I have also done plane interiors for 5 years… with 4 years of good interiors. I really should consider refining my seats from 2013, because they look amazing.
That legroom is incredibly unrealistic
