I just added Yorick’s Resting Place to Super Nostalgia Zone.
was that actually a thing? I don’t recall easter eggs on the original maps.
Actually I can confirm this is true now.
Shedletsky uploaded a new version of this sound on top of the old one awhile back:
It turns out if you use:
rbxassetid://4761522&version=1
as the ID of a Sound, it will play the original version of the sound file.
Not exactly Roblox… but I did get an OS X virtual machine working…
Roblox doesn’t work though.
Oh, and Minecraft doesn’t work either.
Problem is there isn’t any OS X support for 3D acceleration. If it did, Roblox could probably run, maybe at a few frames per second.

Disappointed you weren’t the first to model an atompunk vehicle.
Seriously though, thats a pretty cool hover bike.
Oof, I’ve been caught. Couldn’t make the rest of the details either. It was already hitting 60k tris before decimation.
Thanks though.
I think I can help you there… You used a subsurface modifier didn’t you?
I built the thing in Solidworks, which is a CAD program for engineering not for game model design. So, curves and circles have a lot more vertices to make things smoother and more accurate for engineering and rendering purposes. There isn’t a way of lowering this level of detail either I don’t think. Although I shouldn’t be using SolidWorks for game models, I don’t know Blender but I do know SolidWorks.
@Ashtheking300 did all the stuff concerning Blender (splitting the single mesh into different parts based on color and decimating it). How he decimated it, I do not know. He does a great job of decimating so I’m not too bothered on lowering the tri-count beforehand.
I started to make simple and optimized prop set for fast building methods.
I did the room in 10mn
theres not a lot of prop yet but we can fill a room !
Wood grain?
decimate modifier
Currently working on a game called ‘Achievement Unlocked’, it’s based on the 2008 flash game with the elephant sprite.
Feel free to try it out:
Or try the inspiration:
frick yes, armor games!
Yeah… not even my detailed cars for roblox hit 60k .-.
this is actually really really really cool
I’ve tried lip syncing before with surfacegui’s but they don’t wrap around head meshes which kinda stopped me from doing it…
How are you doing it? I was sure it was just decals on top of decals but then I saw the eyeballs moving (or were they not moving and I was imagining it)
They move, it’s just a lot of decals. There’s a decal for each phoneme and it cycles through in clever ways to minimize batch updates
Working on a anime styles dragon, or trying to. Will see how it goes.
…And by anime I mean the color pallet and hair style is anime, it’s not based off of an anime lol
