Make sure to publish it as a plugin

With my other projects done (except my website) done, I am finally prioritizing my shape optimizer again. Originally, shapes that converged to a single point, or shapes with overlapping triangles, would cause it to fail. Now it is working perfectly. Also, turning the lines into triangles is now about 60% shorter.

When I get the first part done (splitting up triangles that have lines that intersect but don’t have a vertex), I will type up an article on how this works, put up my website with its first article, and then make this a full OBJ optimizer in something like Java. I haven’t decided if I want to finish it in Lua before porting it over and making it work with file system.

Amazing

Wow! That’s pretty cool :open_mouth:

Is this a plugin? Could this be used to make a really nice world map?

Is this going to be used for games! If so, can I ask what? Looks cool.

I’ve been working on a bunch of updates for Pocket Pirates such as Vanish Parts, Mini Rockets, and Hinges. I’ve also been killing more and more bugs/glitches and added in a tutorial for new players (my avg session length goes up drastically when less players are on because the hardcore players understand the game. New players tended to not know how the game worked, so a tutorial was needed. After I added the tutorial I went from having an inverse correlation between visits and visit length to a positive correlation). I also added randomly placed doubloons around the map to encourage players to go farther and make better vehicles.

Currently I’m trying to make Pocket Pirates more mobile friendly. It’s not perfect, but it’s getting a lot better.

If those poles could be a little more textured, or made to look more realistic somehow, I wouldn’t be able to tell that it’s not just an image of a railway in the south, especially the 2nd one.

I want to see it fill with different materials based on the color of the terrain. Could be neat!
