What are you working on currently? (2022)

Why, just why did you insert the loading there?

lol I wanted to make it like the GTA V pause menu that has the funny loading screen thing (however I still haven’t scripted it yet)

Almost done with the Ballista AI!
It works with my custom gravity.

Q: should bullets heading downward be affected by gravity?
  • Yes, just like normal.
  • Yes, but just a bit.
  • No, not at all. (The bullet will make a perfectly straight line.)

I made a loading screen to be used for my future projects. It’s very “standard” right now, I plan to customize it for each game.

Updates to my Rain System with Baked Collisions

I improved performance and cleaned up my code

While running, the Script Performance tab shows:

  • Rate: 1/Second (This can be adjusted and has pros/cons)

  • Activity: Varies from 0.04% - 0.3%

Video (You can see the script performance on the left):

I scripted and implemented the Porter Stemmer Algorithm in Roblox.

It removes the commoner morphological and inflexional endings from words in English. Its main use is as part of a term normalisation process that is usually done when setting up Information Retrieval systems.

To get thicker rain with less raycasting, you could change your raindrop texture to multiple raindrops.

Working on a gun framework.

Today I made the raycasting and collision detecting.

I would use that to make Fruit Ninja, not violent murder!

Link to the Past, Link to the Past, Link to the Past, LINK TO THE PASTTT!

This is why I call it baked collisions because it’s not raycasting in realtime, it only does raycasting upon loading in

Awesome stuff my man! Would be pretty cool if you added some sound effects and some lightning. Keep up the great work!

just resuming a 3 year old project

Its a remake of an old waterpark game I made in 2018. It ended up being too laggy in studio that I decided to remake it in 2020.

Currently, the map is mostly finished, scripting will come last
Although, I still need to re-learn how to make these waterslides again… its been a while since the last one ive made

Day 2 of making a gun framework:

Today I made Damage, Ammo, and Reloading

I also started on making models for the final kit:

(Thompson 1928, full auto)

I’ve only been using blender for about two weeks, so its bad.
