2D platformers are cool but you need some interesting mechanics if you wanna reach out to people.
Mario and Sonic both had mechanics where you could build up speed by running this made the games a lot more fun to play as it introduced a risk reward system will you risk going fast and have a chance of dying to get a better time or will you just take it slow.
And both of those characters had there own move sets like the spin dash, and homing attack for sonic and the wall jump for Mario.
Not saying that you should add these just add something that makes the game different from the other 2000 obbies out there besides being 2D

Really cool 2D platformer but it would be cool if you had some jump sound effects or even a custom animation instead of using the old animation

Looks cool! Roblox doesn’t have enough platformer style games. Nice feature with the reset block button, most people wouldn’t even think about the block getting stuck, and normally you have to reset the whole level. Nice work, keep it up. 
I am actually taking inspiration from old flash games like red ball, etc.

I actually released a teaser version of this where you have to push the block but I didn’t add the reset button so you would have to restart the game.
I can imagine myself playing Mario Bros on my Nintendo right now. It reminds me of the good ol’ classics.
I would suggest, adding some earning system, like the player would be able to collect coins, then buy powerups and stuff…
Also, this looks like as if its a private server, make another version, a online public version, then you can make it as if who has raced to the end.
I am actually gonna make a level where it take inspiration from the old mario games.

That will come in later updates after the game is finished. But we’ll see. And also, at the end of each level, you actually get some currency.

interesting! I hope to see more of these on the platform! there isn’t really a lot of 2D games on Roblox, seeing someone’s progress on a 2D games for Roblox always takes my interest,especially flash games remakes.
Please, keep it up! who knows? maybe its gonna be the next new genre for Roblox!

Looks really cool, will definitely play. Although, i think you should add a coin system and a shop. And, add some like kind of a secret level where there’s a ton of coins, like a coin rush or something. Overall, looks pretty good.
I would love to play it, even more if it had some better GUI and higher quality backgrounds like the blue sky (It’s a bit blurry).
Hope to see it when it releases!

I blurred the sky on purpose because I wanted it to be like a camera that is focusing on an object.

I was gonna add a shop anyway. And you get coins at the end of every level. The harder the level = the more coins.

Seems awesome but PLEASE, get a color palette for your UI.
Is an awesome site for this kind of stuff. This can pull together your UI rather than have harsh reds, contrasting with teals, into neon greens. ALSO, use
To get your self some awesome icons! (There are plugins out there that already have a library of material icons for you to use 
)
