Depends on your Mac model along with CPU and GPU, other specs would be nice too.
Are you using ARM for your Mac or no?

I’ve found OpenGL is good on my PC. I guess it’s not for you.
Im using an intel i5 from 2017
Vulkan lowers the gpu usage to like 8.00 ms but sometimes it drops
Put graphics all the way down so it doesn’t lag as much.
There isn’t much to do to get more performance from a 6 year old laptop. The only thing you can do is turn down settings and update drivers.
I would test which renderer gives best performance using the Microprofiler and choose that.
Easiest way for me to fix is deleting all cache and roblox files and restarting it plus I restored my original monitor res and it went abit smoother and able to stay at 60 longer but sometimes still drops to 50/40 but it easily goes back to 60
I have a 6-year-old laptop. It’s a laptop, not a mac, so it works with Roblox.
I think that’s normal, just make sure output is closed (unless you’re debugging) since its laggy sometimes.
My mac is normal no debug i mostly use it for calls
graphics mode 1 is best for performance
I always set the graphics that is meant for potato pc
is 1 meant for potato PC? just asking the question
Try using Metal. OpenGL wont work that well as MacOS has to emulate OpenGL calls with Metal calls.
Yes and all games i always use level 1
So opengl or metal helps boost fps?
OpenGL probably decreases FPS. Metal can most likely help with FPS.
You should replace the parts. I think a new graphics card could work
As a former MacBook user, use the minium graphics if you are more focussed on FPS.
There is no notable difference (appearance-wise) in most graphic levels below 5 unless you account for render distance.
Use Metal. It’s the graphics API built by Apple for Mac and it will have the best performance.
Should I also disable frame rate manager with it?
