What is a datastore scope? (And how to use them efficiently?)

I was looking at GetDataStore() and I saw this:

on DataStoreService:GetDataStore

I was kind of confused, it seems like a “sub-datastore” but I’m not sure; Can someone explain? And how could I use them in an efficient way?

I kind of understand it’s like a category but it’s still weird for me on how they could be used well if they can;

How does scope in DataStores work?

Okay, I’m still a bit confused of how scope in DataStores work. As I go through the Roblox documentation, there’s a lack of explanation about it. If you could illustrate how the hierarchy of a DataStore, how would it look like? Maybe like this…? DataStoreService Data Store Name Data Store Scope (optional) Data Store Key & Its Value Any information/opinion about it will be helpful, thanks!
