There was a Photoshop knock off that looked as good or worse, I think the name is Affinity, purple logo and such looked good not sure if its too popular right now though, tutorial wise.
Is Affinity hard to use?
Haven’t tried it out myself and just know its one of those fake Photoshops that has what Photoshop offers, with the lower price and less tutorials to boot.
Having used it myself, I think it’s very easy to learn and get the hang of. It offers most of what photoshop has but only has a one time fee rather than a subscription model. It’s definitely worth a try if you’re willing to spend a little bit of money.
Great job! What size are you using for your render? It looks a little pixelated. Other than that it looks great. Also what program are you using? Blender? Cinema 4D? Studio?
Thats studio. Cinema 4D and Blender would anti-alias and would of had better lighting.
Yeah, I see it now. Thank you. @len_ny
@rooboo14 You should try and use Blender. Blender is a great program for creating GFX and its really easy to learn. It will improve your renders greatly. If you want, you could also get Cinema 4D.
Wow thanks! I am not too good at gfx, as my main development skills are set towards scripting and building.
I use a resolution of 10kx10k, and it sometimes turns out a little pixleated.
I used blender for my rends.
I would advise highly against doing 10k by 10k renders. Not only is it very intensive on your computer, it ends up looking pretty pixelated when shrunk down compared to 512x512 or 1080x1080.
Ah I see. What would your suggestion be?
It’s much better suited for viewing, as there aren’t any 10K screens yet. You could go for 4K resolution, but that’s a bit iffy.
Ahh, thank you!
I usually use Photoshop or Lightroom to edit photos. Lightroom is known as the “watered down” version of Photoshop, and has tools solely for photo editing. Unfortunately it’s not free but there’s a 7 day trial, I’m pretty sure!
