What's up with the welds appearing all in my private parts in workspace?

Recently I noticed that roblox adds welds to my private parts! (lol) how do I take this off seriously though? is it going to help my game or slow it down?

Welds aren’t anything bad, and i’m pretty sure they won’t slow down the game experience.
They’re used to hold two objects together in a relative position, regardless of whether they’re touching or not.

yeah, sure but won’t a tard ton of them slow the game down? or is it meant to help the game run faster?

I have used many Welds in some places before, but never noticed any slowing down game experience because of it. So, i think you’re good but having a really high number of Welds might affect the actual game.

Make sure to turn off join surfaces in the home tab

This is most likely due to the fact that you haven’t disabled the “Join Surfaces” toggle available in the home and model tab.

Here’s a thread with more information regarding this: Changes to Part Surfaces
