If you don’t want people to know what city you live in, don’t put yourself in the map.

- Be careful with your personal information. If you’re bothered by people finding your location then the map probably isn’t for you.
The ROBLOX staff use the map to see who is close to the various Maker Faires and other events. That’s how SmoothBlockModel and TheAmazeman got invited to Bay Area Maker Faire. So there is some value in being on it.
Like I said before, I’m okay with developers knowing where I actually live, that’s why I put myself on the map. But it was leaked and after that I just felt uncomfortable, and I quote “There is just some people you trust and some people you don’t”.
